Roman Necklace with Bust of Eros and Shield-form Spacers

This necklace, of very delicate make, is comprised of a central element in the form of a winged bust of Eros and twelve shield-like spacers (seven round, with plain disc bordered with beaded wire; five ovoids, with star floral of beaded wire), all linked together by a double chain, each individual section of which incorporates a small bead of pale green glass at its mid-point.
