Greek Bronze Helmet of Phrygian Type
Helmet of hemispherical form with high crown arching forward and ending in a rounded peak above the forehead, finely molded concave rim, the neck-guard with finely molded concave rim, the neck-guard with projections behind the ears, six holes on the rim for attachment of the cheek-pieces, the forehead ornamented with an appliqué head of Athena, her long wavy hair surmounted by a triple-crested helmet.
