Relatively heavy, hammered skull of bronze with high copper content, characteristical ribs in the nape of the neck and a reinforcement ornament in shape of a reflex bow on the neck-guard. Eyelet for the chin-strap riveted to the underside - from there drawn through the eyelets of the cheek-pieces to the chin. Thickened ear cut-outs without protective flanges as known from variants. Typically riveted hinges of thin sheet metal for the missing cheek-pieces. The position of the missing brow bow recognisable by the corrosion marks and the positioning slit. Both hooks for attachment of the crest retained.
