Egyptian Limestone Fragment from a Column
Sculpted in sunken relief, depicting an official identified as 'Pa-tchawj', kneeling at the left, his arms raised in adoration before offerings, wearing an elaborately-pleated festive costume with two 'gold of honor' necklaces, inscribed above in five columns of hieroglyphs requesting his resurrection and well-being in the hereafter.
