Medinet-Habu: Detail of a Caryatid in the Palace's Peristyle (A. Vol. II, Pl. 7.2)

From the second edition of the Description de l'Égypte ('Description of Egypt'), a group of engravings commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte during his expedition to Egypt (1798-1801) as part of the French Revolutionary Wars. These engravings are from the part dedicated to the city of Thebes.
