Greek Hellenistic Iron Helmet of Beotian Type

This type of helmet was used by the troops of the Seleucid and Ptolemaic kingdoms. It features a tapered crown from which a finial for a crest is attached. Hellenistic chain mail shirt found inside the helmet (MMoCA89b).
