  • Alan Frumkin sold it by exchange to Alice Adamn Ltd. where acquired by the present owner, Chicago, 1985
  • Acquired at John Berggruen Gallery via Caroline Wiseman, California, 5th November 2008, accompanied with an authentification certificate from Marguerite Duthuit, Matisse’s daughter
