Roman Bronze Crowing Cockerel

Vividly depicted with one foot held slightly forward, its neck outstretched, head raised with a pendulous wattle and still coxcomb. The neck is thickly feathered whilst neatly incised semicircles represent the smooth feather to the breast and wings. The erect tail is strongly modelled and cleanly incised with long arching feathers.
