Greek Faience Figural Arabyllos

In the form of a frog, pale turquoise blue in colour with black details, incised crosshatching for the skin of its back, with bulging thickly-lidded eyes and a downturned mouth, the webbed toes of its forelegs splayed below, the vessel mouth protruding from its back, with a thick inward-sloping disk rim, on a flat base. From Rhodes or Naukratis.
