Hellenistic Helmet of Pilos type

Of classical cone-shaped from, the tapering skull reinforced with a riveted cap surmounted by a tall, S-shaped plume socket and forked crest holder, flanked by riveted helical sockets terminating into stylised snake head finials. The lower part of the skull with offset recessed rim, on either side a pair of pierced holes beneath four-spoke wheel appliqués.
