Shield Attachments

Applique in the form of an umbo placed on a smooth disc at the four cardinal corners, flat brackets (a finial marks the left side on one of them). The reverse is smooth and hollow, with no fastening system. On the first, punctuated inscription TCANDIDIMAXIMI, turma of Candidus Maximus.
