Greek Bronze Helmet of Pilos Type

Cone-shaped skull with a broad offset rim. A soldered bronze disc appliqué showing a Gorgon (Gorgoneion) on the front. The crown surmounted with an attachment cap fitted with and S-shaped adornment. Pairs of holes on the sides beneath soldered disc appliqués for fastening the plume.
