Celtic Iron Sword and Scabbard

Sword: lightly ridged blade with visible Damascus pattern. A struck mark (a man’s head) on one side near the base of the blade. Characteristically curved guard. Slightly tapered tang with riveted oval top knob. Scabbard: made of sheet iron with two chiselled ribs and a riveted suspension loop on the reverse side. From Central Europe, La Tène Culture.
