Greek Bronze Helmet of Chalcidian Type

With separately manufactured cheek flaps, low helm wall and behind the ear far pulled down neck-guard. The calotte is limited by a heel fed over the forehead. The short, lancet-shaped nose shield is decorated with a lateral profile that continues over the eyebrows and widened there. On the forehead sat a Scylla applique. Inscription hallmarked on the neck-guard.
