Greek 'Tanagra' Figurine of a Standing Woman

Terracotta statuette of an elegant lady in 'chiton' (a kind of tunic) and 'himation' (an outer garment). The right leg is slightly outward, the left arm around which the himation is wound lies on the hip. The right one, also hidden under the robe, is angled. In the hair, which is combed to a 'melon​-coiffure', lies a blood-wreath wrapped in a bandage. Pink and violet paint rests.
