Greek Teano Ware Kylix (Drinking Cup) with Erotic Scene

The main decoration shows a couple enjoying intercourse; both figures are naked apart from the woman whose hair is bound beneath a saccos. She rests against a rocky outcrop, supporting her weight on her right elbow. The beardless youth leans forward his arms at his sides. A small tree is in the field. The subsidiary decoration consists of entwined vine leaves and rosettes, linked by incised stems.
