Italic Bronze Helmet of Chalcidian Type (from an Armour Set)
With a strong crown ridge and a helical plume sockets on either side terminating in serpent head finials. The forehead area beneath the brow gable embossed with a Gorgoneion flanked by two opposed gryphons. Two finely decorated wings of sheet bronze riveted to the sides and a beaded border along the forehead edge.
