Roman Terracotta Oil Lamp showing a Gladiator

Decorated with an image of a seated Murmillo gladiator in the discus. The gladiator sits, his sword at his side and his hand to the mouth, his shield before him. The potter's mark "L.MV ADIEC" inscribed on the reverse.
