Roman Marble Torso of a Man

Deaccessioned at Christie's London, Mougjns Museum of Classical Art sale, 7th December 2023. Wearing the chlamys over his shoulders. In Ancient Greece, the chlamys was a short mantle draped around the upper shoulders, pinned on the right shoulder with a brooch, that only men wore.
