Roman Miniature Bronze Helmet of the Corinthian Type

A rare votive helmet with flaring neck-guard, long pointed cheek-pieces and semi-circular arched brows either side of a short nose-guard. A long arching crest inlaid with silver strips surmounts the domed crown. The edge of the helmet is also outlined with a similar narrow silver strip.
