Roman Statuette of Aphrodite Removing Her Sandal
The goddess of love, beauty and fertility is nude except for her himation which is draped over her shoulders and round her arms. She is standing with her left leg raised and crossed over her right, with her right arm pendant and in the position of removing her sandal. Her long hair is falling onto the shoulders and she is wearing a diadem.
