Roman Bronze Spatha (Cavalry Sword) and Fittings

Spatha sword with double-edged blade, rounded shoulders tapering point, and an eagle-headed pommel. Remnants of scabbard comprising of bronze openwork with nine accompanying bronze fittings decorated with geometric motifs.

Spatha: h. 72 x w. 4 cm; Fittings: Ø 5.5, Ø 3.5, Ø 2.2 and h. 5 x w. 3.7 cm
