Greco-Roman Marble Statue of Artemis

Under-life-sized statue with the costume and attributes of the goddess Artemis. She wears a short chiton, a quiver, and is accompanied by the remains of a hunting dog. The right forearm which is now missing would have been reaching back and up for an arrow from the quiver. The left arm is lowered along the side of the body and probably held a bow.
