Pilos Type Crested Helmet

Characteristically cone-shaped, bronze Pilos helmet with broad, offset rim. With a central Gorgoneion on the brow and four-spoke wheel appliqués on the sides above the pairs of holes for the chinstraps. Three piece helmet crest with wave-shaped and serrated decoration.
