Apulian-Corinthian Bronze Helmet

Tall bronze skull with an extended neck-guard, heavily contoured eyebrows and brow gable. Small eye cut-outs and a short nose. The large, completely enclosed cheekpieces are decorated with depictions of wild boars. A fishbone pattern on the helmet rims, and palmette decoration on the brow. Riveted, longitudinal helmet plume fork.
